I went to UTM HEP to gather more detail for my fyp. Luckily Cik Fatahiyah still remembers me after 1 year. haha.. OK, back to business.. this is wat i get from the Q&A session.
1) When a staff wanted to add a spouse or children, do you need any proof??
Yes, for spouse, the utm staff will need to supply the wife IC together with the marriage certificate.
As for the children, we need to get the child's birth certificate.
2) What if the staff have more than 1 spouse and lots of kids?
Yes, the staff can claim for every family members if the wife and kids are legally registered in law.
3) What is the children maximum age to have the claim?
If the child stop studying after secondary school, the maximum age would be 18.
But if the child continue till university, the maximum age would be 24.
4) Children should put under who's name if both parents are UTM staff?
Both.
5) Do UTM support the staff parents or siblings?
Yes, UTM support the biological parents but not siblings.
6) When a clinic wanted to register as Panel Clinic, what documents do you need?
We need the clinic license. The procedure is complex. The clinic would need to send in formal letter to utm to apply. We will then choose some of the potential clinic to be sent to JPU(Jawatankuasa Pengurusan Universiti) to decide whether to apply or reject. Then only we will register the clinic.
7) What do UTM need to see when clinic send bill? ( type of drugs?)
We will only look at the total amount from each clinic, then we need to see each resit of individual staff. We do not need the drugs detail as we do not know much of the drug's information.
8) Does a staff have limitation when having a claim?
For normal case, it's RM50. But if it's chronic, it's RM70.
9) How often the billing is done??
Monthly.
Well, tat's actually covers almost all i need to do in the fyp..
For now, i can see a grave waiting me to go in, hopefully, i will have ample time to design and development all this in time. There are too many dependencies around and i need to actually join them in a efficient way. This session provides me lots of information and i'm glad that it's still early. Fuh... fyp, here we go!!
